The level measurement on the LPG tank is carried out precisely and contact-free by means of a Hall effect sensor, which is mounted on the flange of the existing float instead of the level indicator. The compact transmitter unit is protected and approved for use in ATEX Zone 1 and may be mounted in the dome shaft for underground tanks, or under the protective cover or outside for above-ground tanks. Sensor and transmitter can be mounted quickly on the tank without complex wiring: Fasten sensor with 2 screws, place antenna with magnetic base, plug transmitter with battery pack together - done!

The compact transmitter unit is suitable for all commercially available tank shapes: standing or lying cylinder, rectangular or battery tank, above and below ground. The prerequisite is a suitable free tank opening (diameter at least 1"). The installation of the pressure probe or capacitive sensor can be carried out independently of the filling level, even when the tank is full. Special pressure probes with Ex0 approval are available for fuels.
